FX Eyes Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Policy applies to the FX Eyes mobile application, related client software, cloud-connected functions, technical support, and associated services. The information processed depends on which features you use.

2. Information We May Collect and Use

2.1 Account registration, login and verification

If an FX Eyes account is required, we may process information such as your email address, password, verification code, country/region, and other account information needed to register, authenticate, and protect your account.

2.2 Device binding and remote access

When you add or bind a recorder, camera, or other compatible device, the service may process device identifiers such as serial numbers, UIDs, model information, and connection information so the device can be associated with your account and accessed remotely.

2.3 Mobile-device permissions

Depending on the function you use, FX Eyes may request access to:

• Camera: for scanning a QR code or device identifier.
• Photos / storage: for saving snapshots or video clips to your device.
• Notifications: for receiving event, alarm, or system push messages.
• Local network / Wi-Fi information: when needed to discover, add, or configure devices on the same network.

2.4 Cloud and recorded video services

If cloud recording or cloud storage is enabled, video clips, event images, device identifiers, timestamps, and related metadata may be uploaded and stored using the same backend and cloud service framework used for the underlying FX Eyes service. Cloud data is retained according to the applicable service plan, system configuration, and operational requirements, and may be automatically deleted when the applicable retention period expires.

2.5 AI and face-related features

If you enable face recognition or other AI features, image data and/or facial feature information may be processed for functions such as identification, authentication, visitor management, search, event classification, or other user-enabled functions.

2.6 Technical support and customer service

If you contact support, we may process your contact details, account information, device information, correspondence, diagnostic details, screenshots, logs, and other information you provide so we can investigate and respond.

2.7 Security, diagnostics and service maintenance

To keep the service secure and reliable, technical data may be processed, including IP address, app version, device type, operating-system information, network information, error reports, crash data, connection logs, usage frequency, and abnormal-service or device-status information.

3. Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell personal information. We may share or make information available to trusted service providers only where necessary to provide cloud infrastructure, connectivity, storage, account services, technical support, security, maintenance, or other functions required to operate FX Eyes.

These service providers process information only as necessary to support FX Eyes and are expected to apply appropriate technical and organizational safeguards.

4. International Data Transfers

FX Eyes services may use servers and service providers located outside your country or region. Where personal information is transferred internationally, appropriate legal and security measures will be applied as required by applicable data-protection law.

5. Data Retention

Personal information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the relevant service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce agreements.

Cloud video, event images, and related service data are retained according to the applicable service plan and backend configuration, and may be automatically deleted when the relevant retention period expires.

6. Security

Reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards are used to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Communications should use encrypted connections such as HTTPS/TLS.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

• request access to personal information associated with you;
• request correction of inaccurate information;
• request deletion of eligible information;
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
• object to or restrict certain processing;
• disable app permissions through your device settings.

8. Account Deletion

You can delete your FX Eyes account directly from the Account Management menu in the app.

After account deletion, access to the account and associated services may end, and eligible personal information will be deleted or anonymized except where retention is required or permitted by applicable law.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Web-based FX Eyes pages may use cookies or similar technologies for essential site operation, traffic analysis, security, and service improvement. Where required, appropriate notice or consent will be provided.

10. Children

FX Eyes is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to independently consent to data processing. If personal information of a child is collected contrary to applicable law, it will be handled and deleted as required.

11. Changes to This Policy

This Policy may be updated when FX Eyes features, service providers, legal requirements, or privacy practices change.

Material updates may be communicated through the app, website, email, or other appropriate means.
